The camera feed goes off, the battery drops below 10%, and an animatronic is standing at the end of the hallway. That moment encapsulates why this survival horror game is so intense. Five Nights at Sahurs puts you in the role of a night watchman in a small family restaurant, with the sole mission of surviving from midnight to 6 AM for five consecutive nights.
No movement, no exploration. You sit still in your guard booth and process everything through the cameras, hallway lights, and barricades. The animatronics move between rooms and gradually approach your office. The cameras indicate their location. The lights confirm the threat at close range. The doors block them when necessary.
Every action consumes electricity. Closing doors and keeping lights on constantly will cause the system to shut down before dawn, leaving you with no protection. The most important decision isn't quick reflexes, but knowing when to act and when to remain silent.

Instead of the traditional stage robot, the game introduces Tung Sahur, a character originating from internet brainrot culture. This familiar yet strange image creates discomfort in its own way, being both funny and scary in the same frame.
This is a mechanic not present in the original FNAF versions. The security guard gradually becomes sleepy in real time during the night. Drinking coffee helps stay awake, but drinking too much will push the index into dangerous territory. As a result, you have to manage two resources simultaneously during the same shift: electricity and alertness.
Closing the door when not needed is the number one reason for running out of electricity before 6 AM. Use the camera to confirm the animatronic's location before activating any barriers.
With coffee, don't drink it as soon as the reading spikes. Wait until the readings drop to a lower threshold before drinking, to avoid accumulating an overdose from multiple consecutive drinks.
The mouse does it all. Click to switch cameras, press door buttons, turn hallway lights on and off, and drink coffee when needed. No keyboard required; all interactions take place at the security desk.
In Five Nights at Sahurs, the winner isn't the one who reacts fastest, but the one who knows how to restrain themselves and read the situation before things get out of control.
